WebThe 997.1 has a Mezger. The 997.2 has a 9A1. Both very stout engines, but the 9A1 is superior (it's an evolution of the Mezger engine). PDK is superior to tiptronic, but if you are doing heavy mods the tip might be more robust without doing further work. And yeah, IMHO the 997.2 is going to be really collectible.
