WebFeb 1, 2024 · For a laser engraving machine, there are usually three axes: the X-axis, the Y-axis, and the Z-axis. The X-axis would allow the laser to move in the left and right directions. The Y-axis allows the laser to move forward or backward. The Z-axis would be used to adjust laser focal length. WebThe set Zero Point button (the globe) sets zero for all axes. Use of these buttons is the only time LaserGRBL will move the Z axis. (Unless you are loading GCode files which move it.) Adding Custom Buttons. LaserGRBL allows you to add custom buttons to the bottom button bar, after the lightning bolt, padlock and globe.
